I appreciate you taking the time to view our Church's web page. As I tell all visitors to our Church, please do ask questions. We've nothing to hide but very much to share.
Jesus gloriously saved me in 1976, and I've been the pastor of Maple Grove Baptist Church (M.G.B.C.) since 1995. I am happily married and have a beautiful daughter which has married a man of character and they are serving the Lord in Alaska! They have given us three beautiful grandchildren. God has blessed our home and held our hand as we walked through the years; to say that God has been good to us seems like an understatement; we thank Him for His Grace and Mercy upon our lives! It has been my desire to pastor a church that is truly in love with the Savior, the Saint and the Sinner. God is granting that desire at M.G.B.C. Are we a perfect Church? No! But are we growing closer to the Saviour? Yes! We laugh, we cry and worship together. We bear one another's burdens and rejoice when prayers are answered. We are a family! We have adopted a phrase at M.G.B.C. we don’t have to do anything “we get to”. I “get to” be the pastor of a wonderful group of people who “get to” attend M.G.B.C. Our Sunday school teachers “get to” teach those who are willing to listen. Our singers “get to practice” so that God can use them to be a blessing to those who here them sing. We “get to” give to world missions that the whole world might hear the gospel. We “get to” go out into our local community and invite others to hear the gospel message. You get the point…every day is a gift from God; every opportunity is a possibility to be part of this glorious ministry. If you do not have a home church, if your desire is to know God's will through God's word, if you desire the fellowship of like minded Christians, if you desire that your children be brought up under sound doctrine, then this is your Church.
